Zero grams or zero gram / no spaces or no space?

Hi.Wondrin when to use zero grams (eg. transfat) in fact it has no transfat at all, as i understood it, because obviously it's ZERO?The same with "NO SPACES." How can we know if we're using this correctly at a given situation?

I can't think of a context where 'zero gram' would be correct.

You have to think about the context.

eg There is no space left in the box. 'Space' is used in a general way.
eg There is a space between these two books. You are clearly talking about one space.

eg There are spaces between the books on this shelf. You are clearly talking about multiple spaces.

In the US, the Food and Drug Administration has rules for labels on food. The form is fixed, and has items like Calories, Total fat, Trans Fat, Sodium, etc. The quantities are printed in the label in units of grams.
So you see "0 g" on the label if the product has no content in that category.

Sometimes, this is used to advertize the product to health-conscious consumers, so in big letters on the front, you might see:

Zero grams of Trans Fat!
