'zebra crossing'

In my country we call it a 'zebra crossing' on account of the black and white stripes on the road.......it may have an accompanying sign near it but we don't give the actual sign any special name.

In the U.S., the place you cross is simply the crosswalk. (You'll see signs that say "Pedestians in crosswalk have right of way.")

The signal (the little green walking man and the red hand) doesn't have an official name that I know of, but I guess I'd call it the pedestrian crossing signal.

We have lots of different types of pedestrian crossings in the UK; zebra, pelican, puffin etc. Some have lights to stop the traffic, some don't. The zebra crossing is just a strip of black and white stripes across the road with no traffic lights (it does have an odd orange 'lollipop' sign on the pavement by it) but cars still have to stop for pedestrians.

And to think that I believed it was a place where one should be cautiously on the look-out because zebras might cross the road there! We have railroad crossing signs and cattle crossing signs in the U.S., and that's what they mean here.
