...you've got going there...

Hello Recently, Nintendo anounced a price drop for their games which can be had for £19.99 in th U.K and $19.99 in the U.S. In the comments section of a website, I came across the following comment:

£19.99($19.99)? That's a strange exchange rate you've got going there, Nintendo!

What deos the part in bold mean?

Thanks.

That's a strange exchange rate you have there. It's a little slangy. It has the slight implication that something underhanded may be happening (going on), but in this case I sense that it's being done in a joking way.

  • It's part way between "Nintendo is scheming something" and "That can't be the correct exchange rate.
  • Nintendo has made a mistake".
