Grammar

yourself or yourselves

I've a problem with the example here as explanation.
Is the spelling depending on male or female or is it just singular and plural.
Should i write (I am female): Trust in myselve .... or .... Trust in myself?

Top answer

'Myself' is the singular form regardless of the gender of the person concerned.
