You're welcome

I wonder why she said "You're welcome"

Top answer

"You're welcome" is a polite (when not sarcastic, of course) set phrase that is used in return when someone has thanked you for your assistance, kindness, etc. I thought at first that she was saying it purely sarcastically, but I think in fact she is supposed to be humorously treating Earl's snoring as "thanks" for helping him to fall asleep.
