hi.. i'd like to know what "right" means in this context. it doesn't seem to be said in the normal way we know, right meaning "with reason". it seems to me to have the sense of "aware" , but i found nothing saying that "right" means "aware" sometimes.
it's an interview and the host says to her interlocutor "and you're right that a lot of people in local TV news thought of your parents as being responsible for the downfall of local TV news. What were your thoughts? What are your thoughts about that now?"

"right" has the usual meaning there; it does not mean "aware".
