The above is from the film "Fearless Jones." What does "and all" refer to? Does it mean "and everything?" Thanks.

I like your explanation of this, but I still don't get it. Why do you have to say "you're my friend and all (attributes appertaining)" to your friend? I mean, what meaning does "all attributes appertaining" add to the base sentence

Think of it as "Although you are my friend,..."

I might interpret your sentence like this:

You're my friend (and all) = You are my friend (and that would normally mean that you could expect me to do lots things to support you or your wishes)
