Are these lines completely natural? Any suggestions please?

Her speech echoed my thought about child labor to the word. Only, I couldn't express them half as well.

(echoed my thoughts = you said exactly what I think about child labor)

(-- could not express them half as well = If I tried to speak on this topic, I would not be half as good as you were)
