Your PERCEPTION about Extra sensory PERCEPTION!!??

Hello friends,
I have seen and heard many fictionous stories.But never believed any one of them.But recently a bug is crawling in my head!It's because of the facts that I come to know quite often.Yes there is an illiterate in my area whose is not aware of anything,but numbers.He is just able to draw the numbers as they are and he knows nothing about it's mathematical values.
But this man is able to tell the engine number of the train which is going to come along the track!If there are ten buses in sequence he is able to spot the number of the ninth or tenth bus from a distance from which human eyes cannot possibly see.He has been sensed with this ability since childhood.
Not only this,I hope you all might have heard about the Russian child Natalia Demkina who is claimed to have X-ray vision to see through the body.I would like to know your views about ESP.How do a particular set of people gain this power?Does science has anything to do with this?
