Which is correct? 1 or 2? Should I use the possessive 's or not?

I would stick with the first version. You are not really referring to someone's personal internet, you are referring to their 'internet speed' as a two-word noun.
Also, it's worth checking capitalisation of the word 'internet' as it's not done much in the UK and rarely for its use as a noun modifier.

Many of the industry magazines stopped capitalizing it years ago.

They used to capitalize 'Radio' when it was new. I think 'Internet' will go the same way.
