How do you write this sentence properly? My teacher's badminton class is the best, but Art class is the worst. *Does the word "badminton" take a capital "B"?

Use a capital if that is the official name of the class.



My teacher's badminton class sounds slightly odd. It sounds like a class your teacher attends as a student, eg in the evenings.

By the way, I think that my student was trying to say that it's the class run by the teacher him/herself and not the one the teacher is attending....that is the best.

Hi,

A student would just say 'my badminton class'. By definition, a class has a teacher, so that does not have to be stated.
