Younger than 18

I'm looking for a suitable word for "younger than 18" that would fit the context. I guess I should leave out "overweight cadavers with"), too.

Excluding criteria from the study were: documented pleural cavity pathology, thoracic trauma, cadavers younger than 18 years, (overweight cadavers with) body mass index (BMI) >35

The sentence seems fine already. If it's needed, tho, you can call someone younger than 18 a "minor".

Hi Antonija,

The word 'minors'means people under the legal age of majority. In many countries,a minor is someone under the age of 18.

It sounds odd to me to say 'cadavers younger than 18'. I think many people feel that aging stops when you die.

In other words, Tom dies at 25. Two years later, what age is his cadaver? 25? 27?

In my experience, the normal wording
