Younger face/looks

(1) Jack is forty years old now. I don't remember his younger face.

(2) Jack is forty years old now. I don't remember his younger looks.

Which word is correct: face or looks? Thank you very much.

They are both OK, but "his younger X" is not usual. I would spell it out, like "I don't remember how his face looked when he was younger." Also "looks" is not ideal in this setting because "looks" tends to attractiveness. "Appearance" is better because that is all you mean.
