You'll be fully reimbursed for your night work

The intern program is scheduled from August 5th to September 4th, and upon completion of the intership, ten interns will be offered a position at our company as official employee ... You will be fully reimbursed for your night work at a rate of forty-five dollars an hour.

Hi,
Is it the same to write "you'll be made up for your night work at a rate of forty-five ... " instead of the last sentence in the above? Thanks.

No, that won't work. Made up means fabricated or composed of or to make amends.

Thanks, Aspara Gus.
Then how should I understand it?

I suspect it means that all interns will be paid for their time whether hired or not.
