You would fall at your own feet

"If you realized how beautiful you are, you would fall at your own feet."

What does that mean? I know each word in the sentence, but I don't get that.

Top answer

Yeah, it's garbled. You can figuratively fall at someone's feet in admiration. To fall at one's own feet does not make a coherent picture for me.

It's a humorous way of saying

"If you realized how beautiful you are, you would fall in love with yourself."
