You won't see me cry

Hello,
I don't get this. if cry is here a noun, I think it should have been "you won't see my cry". if cry is here a verb, I think it should have been "you won't see me to cry". Can you explain this to me with examples?
Thanks

It is an infinitive verb and the structure is quite common with verbs of sensation and a few other verbs that take the bare infinitive complement: We heard the lady scream. They saw me kick the dog. I felt the earth move under my feet.

well, we say 'you ask me to do something" . why can't we say 'you won't see me to cry' ?? I couln't get it. Is it about verbs?

And I saw another sentence, 'this is me trying to be nice' why isn't it 'this is me try to be nice' or 'this is me to try to be nice' ?

I know these are basic stuff but I'm a bit confused. So any help would be very nice.

All I can tell you is that different verbs take different structures as complements. Comprehensive grammar books have sections covering each permutation with examples.
