"You won't get rid of me (as) easy as that."

"You won't get rid of me (as) easy as that."

I saw this in a movie script and I was wondering if the speech part of easy is an adjective or an adverb and then it is the same with easily? And easy is used as an adverb meaning easily in spoken English among native English speakers as well?

Thank you so much as usual and have a good day.
