You will serve me

A young man wants to get a job at a restaurant.

So the headwaiter puts him through a test to see if

he will make a good waiter.

-------------------------------------------------

Boy: You're the headwaiter? I want to be a waiter.
Manager: What? You're looking for a job as a waiter?
Boy: Well, I think I would make a very good waiter.
Manager: Would you know? We'll see about that.
Very well, I'll try you out.
Boy: How do you do this tryout, this test?
Manager: Ah, I'll pretend to be the customer and you'll
pretend to be the waiter.
Boy: Oh, thank you. Ah, and now what?
Manager: And now you will look after me. Now, you will
serve me.
Boy: Serve you?
Manager: Yes, you will wait on me. You will serve me dinner.
Boy: Oh, OK, boss.
Manager: Ask me if I'd like to see the menu.
Boy: Would you like to see the menu?

----------------------------------------------

I have two questions

1- What does "you will serve me" mean in this dialogue?

2- What does "you will wait on me" mean in here?

Thank you
