You were grabbing the handles of the subway

Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"You were grabbing the handles of the subway car with your right hand. But now you took the salt shaker with your left hand. Do you know that less than 1% of the world`s population can be considered ambidextrous?"

Thanks.
