Hi, my question is, which of the two sentences is correct? Or if they are both right, what is the difference? Thank you!

It's easier for me to understand "You surprised me."

Can I see "You surprise me" as "you often give me surprises", or "I get one surprise after another from you as I come to konw you"? But in this sence, will "You really surprise me" or "You always surprise me" sound more natural?
