People have dissimilar viewpoints regarding the role of school assignments in educational purposes. While many people hold the view that homework is pointless and should be steered clear of, I agree with those who maintain that homework is an indispensable part of schools which offers tremendous advantages.
There are two prime reasons why assignments are typically seen to be time-consuming and purposeless. First of all, by alleviating the burden of students' homework, this will provide them with extra time to participate in voluntary work or learn new skills which help them more in their future as distinct from tedious projects. Therefore, students can develop and learn knowledge that benefits their future occupations. This can also render the society numerous merits since there are more students taking part in social activities. The second reason is that without homework, students gain more opportunities to join projects that demand intense engagement. This will not only help children to come out of their shells but enhance their independence, as well.
However, I strongly believe that an appropriate amount of homework plays an imperative role in the education of individuals. Doing school assignments assist students to acknowledge the importance of responsibility, which is the critical characteristic of any job. This is because if only the children have the essential responsibility, they are capable to endure the stress that happens regularly when participating in the labor world. In addition, assignments from school also require a lot of crucial skills. For example, research, communication, and social filter skills are necessary regardless of occupations or classes. Only by performing homework, students can expose to situations when these skills are needed and practice them.
In conclusion, albeit I acknowledge the sake of getting rid of homework such as rendering students more time for self-development, homework is utterly vital due to its enormous merit in constituting responsibility and other principal skills.
