You just killed/ruined him/her for me

What do you say to someone when you mean that someone just made somebody else look awful and out of character by the way that first person portrayed them? Is it "you just killed/ruined him/her for me"?

Anonymous Is it "you just killed/ruined him/her for me"? "killed" is a bit extreme, but "ruined" works all right. You can also say things like this: You just made me lose my appetite for him/her.
