You happen to life

Hello.

"You happen to life" What grammar is that? Or what does it mean? Is that the same as "You happen to live"?

Thanks.

Hi! Well, I'm not quite sure about its misspeling. It's the line of a song: "It doesn't happen to you, you happen to life"

I know that in songs a lot of words can be turned into simplified forms and expressions, but it's overly incomprehensible.

Strangeness in poetry is called "poetic license."

I suppose that the line could be interpreted "you are part of a larger scheme of things."

Yes, that would be akin to some Chuck Norris jokes.

When you jump into a pool you get wet.

When Chuck Norris jumps into a pool the water gets Chuck Norrised!

"It doesn't happen to you, you happen to life" means "rather than waiting for events around you to dictate your actions (i.e. life happens to you), you boldly act and make an impact on the word (i.e. you happen to life)".

It's not phrasing you're likely to see except in poetic phrasing and extremely casual speaking/writing.

Thank you! I finally got your point. At first I didn't realize that "life" submitted here as a noun. I got used to verbs after "happen to"

It means to take advantage of every single wonderful opportunity and challenges that come your way and make the best out of your life. You are who makes the difference because because we're all unique and made tof shine as ***'s creations.
I don't know where you heard this quote or linext but I'm familiar with it from a song by Superchick:
