You gotta see it with live crowd

A guy said to his friend who is an movie actor. "You gotta see your movie with live crowd."

What does "live crowd" mean? when I looked up the words, I found a lots pictures of fired up audience at outside events. Would you use "live crowd" as the audience in a theater?
