You go to bed first

Hi:

I'm wrting a conversation drill like:

Wife: What's keeping you? Aren't you going to bed?

Husband: You go to bed first. I need to finish a report.

Is the husband's reply adequate? How to make him sound nicer?

Thank you for help.
