Sally: You drink a lot of juice! Let's take two bottles of apple juice. They are $150 in total.

Why use the present tense here?

It's because she's referring to his habits. 'Everyday, he drinks a lot of juice'.

They are $150 in total. This is very expensive juice in N. American terms! I assume you are talking about Taiwanese currency?
