0IMO this is a complex sentence. 01u01i00You don't understand02i02u00 is the main clause and 01i01u00[that] this thing will hurt you02u02i00 is a relative clause. I guess "that" is a relative conjunction (doesn't sound right) and should be omitted when the sentence is easily understood without it.0-
