You can't do that in a book

When having "you can't do that in a book", what it might mean? any idea please?

it's fantastic to have nearly 700 virtual field trips included with Google expeditions. from outer space to the bottoms of the world's deepest oceans. you can't do that in a book.

Though your eyes see the words in a book, it is the mind that produces the image of what is being delivered. Movies/Documentaries produce the image for you as you listen to the dialogue, however, there are peripheral objects in the room/theater that prevent the person watching from the feeling of being in the environment they are watching.
