"You Auto Buy Now"

Hello! I'd like to ask an advertising slogan that appeared in our textbook.
The original sentence is: "the car dealers across the country were flying banners that read 'You Auto Buy Now'." I've searched on internet that it is an economic historical event in 1958, USA, aimed to persuade people to buy cars.
So my question is that “auto”here is an homophonic word to "ought to"? Because I think that's the only way it can make sense.

Thank you in advance!
