You are welcome?

Hi! everyone I want to know whether "welcomed" is correct?
-:My facebook friend gave me a link to his fan page and asked me to like it.I liked it,in reply he said "Thank you very much" then I said "You are always welcome to ask me to do anything"
I am curious if I can use "welcomed" instead of welcome(colored) and what would be the difference between the sentence containing "welcomed" and the other having "welcome" in it?
Thanks!

No, 'welcomed' is wrong there; the original sentence is right. It can be used as a verb, but your sentence already has a verb. Here are correct uses: We were welcomed by the inhabitants.
