You are my love?

Can I say "You are my love" to a best friend of mine but we are not engaged in a relationship. Pure friendship and both of us are not homosexual.

If the phrase is not appropriate, how to tell a best friend who is really best of the best that I like him so much. (Not gay please)

Just to add something briefly to the previous answer, it's best not to use "all" or "both" (universal quantifiers) as the subject of a negation. Rephrase thus:

neither of us is homosexual
