Hi, I have a question about the expression "You are eternal." I'm now translating into English. Is it correct to say this sentence? "You" refers to God, and the original text means "God is eternal" I want to know that this is a correct expression or shoud I find a different one. Like, you have eternal life(which frequently appears in the Bible) Or, you live forever. Actually, "you are eternal" is a direct translation so I prefer to use it. I'm afraid this is awkward expression. Native speakers, please help!
