yet here we are?

Hello,

English is not my mother tongue, so I still have difficulty in understanding some phrases. Please help me.

Here is a dialogue:

-I’m not looking for a relationship right now.
-Me neither, yet here we are.

What does "yet here we are" mean here? Could you explain it with another words please?

Thank you so much!
