Yet another e-mail... Your error/mistake eye radar needed.

Dear Users,

Would you be able to spend a few minutes and have a close look at my e-mail? If your attentive eyes spot mistakes, errors or negative transfers from L1, please let me know.

One question that I have is about I apologize for a slow reply... sentence. I feel that the indefinite article is the right choice here, but perhaps you have a different opinion?

Dear FZ,

Thank you for your message and the invitation to BCU campus. I appreciate that. I have to apologize for a slow reply, but I have been experiencing problems with my Gmail account.

I regret to inform you that my day job has already started, so it is quite hard for me to come to BCU on one of the days you kindly suggested. Would it be possible to schedule an appointment some time later in the afternoon or in the evening? My normal day at work begins at 9:00 and ends at 17:00. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays are my toughest days right now. This week, however, I will have a day off on Thursday and Friday.

I would be more than happy to come to BCU in order to meet with Ms. KH, so I hope we will be able to find a convenient time.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

With kind regards,

XYZ
