Yet

1. I did not yet receive the item.
2. I did not receive yet the item.
3. I did not receive yet, the item.
4. I did not receive the item yet.

I think only 2 is grammatically incorrect. Could you please let me know which ones are correct?

That one is natural for a native speaker. The others are not.

Since the only difference is the positioning of "yet", the designation of "ungrammatical" may not be warranted, but "unnatural" or "awkward" certainly is.

Another way to express this idea is:

I have yet to receive the item.
