Yes or no

Hi there,

I am confuse when to answer yes or no. As below,

Someone asked me " you dont like it", If i dont like it, I would say 'no'.

Another example, someone says "she is not bad looking", if i agree, should i answer 'yes' or 'no'?

Such negative statements often confuse native speakers as well, so we usually add on a bit of explanation: You dont like it? - No, I don't She's not bad looking. - Yes, she's a knockout!
