Grammar

"Yes, I am a teacher."

A : Are you a teacher?
B : Yes, I am.

Can I also say, "Yes, I am a teacher."

And have you ever heard of and used "Yes, I am not" or "No, I am"?

Thank you so much as usual in advance.

I can see "No, I am" possibly used in a situation like this:

A: He said you weren't a teacher. Is that correct?
B: No, I am.

However, arguably "No. I am." would be better.
