Yellow vs yellowish

Hi,

Is my sentence correct?

Have you noticed any yellowish discoloration of your skin or eyes?

Can I say "yellowish" or should I say " yellow discoloration"?

Thank you in advance.

You can say either, depending on what you mean. "yellowish" is less definite and covers a range of colours that are roughly or mildly yellow.
