Years & Year Shine lyrics

In this song by Years & Years most lyrics sites and videos write "I was biding my time" instead of "I was biting my tongue" at 0:50



I was biding my time
I was trying to hide
I’ll forget what I’ve done
I will be redefined

Though Biting my tongue doesn't make much sense to me here, further confusion arises because Tongue, not Time rhymes with Done as Hide is made to rhyme with Refined.

Can anybody with an educated native ear let me know what they make out? Maybe Bide someones time is not a well know expression?
