"yeah" is merely a casual form of "yes". In everyday speech, "yeah" is very common. In writing it is noticeably casual. It can be used in chatty writing (e.g. chatting with friends) or when transcribing casual dialogue. It is not appropriate in any kind of more formal writing.

hummmm but it doesn't mean any phrases like ( e.g WTF what the *** )

"What the ****?", abbreviated as "WTF?", is a vulgar exclamation of surprise. It has no particular connection with "Yup".
