"X was working fine. Until it didn't."

This sort of phrase seems to show up a lot in headlines, clickbait and on twitter. Does anyone know its origin?

e.g.:

I enjoyed playing Destiny. Until I didn't.

Destiny was a good franchise... until it wasn't.

Things like this don't really have an origin. Not long ago there was "not": "I really loved that movie. Not." Deadpool said "I used to have one of those back in 1990 never." It's just a run-of-the-mill snap terminal negation.
