Please check if my understanding of "It's X meets Y meets Z" is correct. As part of a writeup of an animation-themed party with a best costume contest, I used "It's The Transformers versus Winnie the Pooh versus Samurai X." Someone suggested "The Transformers meets Winnie the Pooh meets Samurai X" (because he felt bad for Winnie the Pooh!), but I believe this use of "meet" is really to say that the characteristics of all three are found in one person or entity. Am I right?
Thanks.
