TASK 2: Scientific research should be carried out and controlled by the governments rather than private companies. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, scientific research sometime could be conducted by governments and by private companies. While some people are aware of the benefits from carrying them out by corporations, I would support the idea that governments can supervise and raise fund for it better.

The private sector argues that it is willing to undertake scientific research but there are too many dangers in it. Firstly, it is not so strange that research developed sometime is interrupted by lacking in expenditures to continue. This makes valuable ideas of the projects fall into abandon and incompleteness so all efforts of researchers from the beginning become meaningless. Companies that take on those studies may have tendency to maximize their profits, not the quality of them. Because of the fact that employers launch the companies for economic development, their general aim is to make money and enrich their budget. As a consequence, those companies advertise conducting research with sounding names to raise public awareness. However, those projects haven't been done thoroughly and intensively so their qualities are virtual.

On the contrary, many reasons are shown to persuade the effectiveness of the government on proceeding studies. It could not be denied that government owns a big budget which paves the way for universities to investigate in the study completely. Besides, under the supervision of authorities, researchers would carry out seriously high-quality projects designed to benefit society. Finally, as governments are answerable for applying excellent results to education programs or social life, those research would be unforgettable and valuable to everyone.

In conclusion, I agree that governments should undertake the scientific research.
