The line graph shows the amount of global water used for three different purposes while the table compares the water consumption between Brazil and Democratic Republic of Congo. Overall, it is clear that global water use rose significantly in all agriculture, industrial use and domestic use. In the table, water use per person in Brazil was 400 times more than that in Congo. In 1900, while below 50 km3 was the amount of water used for industrial and domestic sectors, the use for agriculture showed a dominance with 500 km3. For the next 100 years, the figure gave a considerable increase to the highest point of 3000 km3. Similarly, there was a growth in both the figures for 2 other aims which illustrated a reach to peak of 1000 km3 with industrial sector and 400 km3 with domestic sector.
