Wrong to say "Visa for payment"

(1) Do you accept Visa?

(2) Do you accept Visa payments?

(3) Do you accept Visa for payments?

Most of my non-native English speaking friends think my first two examples are good and (3) is wrong. Why is it wrong? Thank you very much.
