Wrong kind of
Which are correct:
1-He is the wrong kind of person to go out with.
2-He is the wrong kind of person for going out with.
3-That is the wrong programme to open the file with.
4-That is the wrong programme for opening the file with.
I use "1" and "3". To me "a wrong kind.
of person" and "a wrong programme" sound more logical, since there might be many wrong kinds of people and many wrong kinds of programmes, but I think in English "the" is used.
