Writting without shortening

Hi, I am writting a letter to a person which is a native english speaker, and I want to know how text looks or sounds to receiver the letter, if I write it without any shortening like «have not» - «haven't», «may not» «mayn't», «do not» - «don't» etc.
Will it be okay, if not, why?

I know, the question may be rather strange, but I really want to know, because I am not a native speaker and I don't fell the difference.

Contractions (haven't, won't, don't) are very normal in all but the most formal types of writing. Is your recipient American? ) Otherwise, if it's a reasonably friendly letter, use don't didn't, won't, I'll, I've, etc.

Is your recipient American? If so, don't use "mayn't" or "needn't." (And don't use "shall" for an American either.)

Otherwise, if it's a reasonably friendly letter, use don't didn't, won't, I'll, I've, etc.

thank you for answering.
May I ask you to help me again?
Which would be more preferable
I have not got smthng - I've not got or I haven't got
It is not the same - It's not the same ot It isn't the same
I will (shall) not go there- I'll not go there or I won't (shan't) go there
?

I'll be thankful if you help me with that.

Hi again arthurAWESOME (and a slightly late welcome to the forums),

My American English answer:
I have not got smthng - I've not got or I haven't got -- I don't have it, I haven't got it.
It is not the same - It's not the same ot It isn't the same -- Either one is fine. No difference.
I will (shall) not go there- I'll not go there or I won't (shan't) go there. -- I won't go
