The bar chart shows the proportion of people who has part-time job in the country that make-up the United Kingdom. Both in 1980 and 2010, there has generally been small increase in part-time workers from 1980 to 2010, except Northern Ireland. The bar graph also show that England and Wales have far more part-time worker than Northern Ireland and Scotland.

In 1980, in England has 25% of people has part-time jobs. The only country with a greater percentage of part-time workers was Wales with 33%. In 2010 both of those country witness a small rise in percentage of people working part-time. In England the percentage rose over 30% and just over 35% is the percentage has risen in Wales.

Scotland is the country has smallest percent, just over 10%, but after 30 years the percentage of part-time workers increased to almost 20% which is a large rise. Lastly, in 1980 15% is the percentage of part-time workers in Northern Land, after that it decreased by a couple of percent in 2010.
