The graph compares the percentage of people who own the car in Great Britain between 1971 and 2007

It is clear that cars ownership in Britain rose between 1971 and 2007.In particular,while the number of households with two cars grow,the number of household without car fell

In 1971,there were 50% British who didn't have car and the proportion was dramatically decrease to approximately 25% in 2007.By contrast,the two cars ownership were marginally increase from about 8% to more than 26% in the same time

In addition,three or more cars users were only 2% in 1971 and continued slight growth ,reached nearly 7% in 2007 and the people who owned one car remain unchanged in 36 years with around 44%.
