Some people enjoy working alone. Others would rather work in a group. What is your preference? Explain why?

Everyone has their own way to choose a working environment that suits their best. Some people insist on working independently, while others prefer collaborating with their partners on finishing a job. In my opinion, I would like to work in a group rather than individually for so many reasons.

First, working in a partnership can simplify and maximize your tasks. Some people consider themselves a multi-tasked person, but the fact that we cannot be good at every single aspect. Maybe you are specialized in researching the documents, but it does not mean you can reach that high level of understanding Information Technology. Additionally, it will definitely be more effective and take less time when the co-workers share the business with each other so that they all have chances to do their best. As a result, it is common and essential to lots of companies or associations that they should have several different departments and positions in order to support each other and reach the targets.

Second, being in a group will give you a chance to develop numerous helpful skills and manners. One of those is probably the listening skills, which you often face the situation that there are many different points of view. In this case, you must be patient and respectfully listen to each idea so that you can finally come up with the best solutions to the problem. Moreover, the partnership will be enhanced in which you can somehow find the soulmates among your teammates. Working in teams may create a harmonious working environment and friendships among co-workers, which also leads to job satisfaction. If you work alone all the time, you will lack the needed social contacts and just be like a robot.

Finally, working with people will help you broaden your mind. We all acknowledge that studying is a crucial and endless process; we can either educate ourselves or learn from someone else. I believe both ways are important, however, it would be much easier to learn from an experienced foregoer. Thus, only by working together that you can realize what you are missing and how to acquire that thanks to other co-workers.

In conclusion, I assume that working in a group is a need that can bring us many advantages. We may enjoy working alone but also need to learn how to socialize and collaborate so that we can achieve our goals as soon as possible.
